Phosphorus oxychloride is a colourless corrosive , irritative fuming liquid with the formula POCl3.  It is red yellow when it is soluble in chlorine or phosphorus pentachloride, It hydrolyses in moist air to phosphoric acid to release choking fumes of hydrogen chloride. It is decomposed with water or alcohol and releases a large number of caloric and hydrochloric acid gas, irritative to eyes.

Application: It is one of the main materials for the manufacture of high-purity silica fibre. It is also used as dopant in chips industry. Mainly used for integrated circuits, solar cells, the diffusion of electronic components, doping process. It is a necessary chemicals in the IC manufacturing process, widely used in photovoltaic, IC industry.
Packing : Packed in dry quartz bottle, its specifications are 500ml/bottle, 1000ml/bottle, 1500ml/bottle, coated with wood-frame, filled with the Pearl sponge in between bottle and frames.
Storage : Should be stored in a cool, ventilated and dry warehouse, containers must be sealed, away from heat and fire. No storing and transporting mixed with flammable materials and deliquescent materials. To prevent rain shower and the Sun in transit, such as take measures to cover wagons to prevent rain and snow in loading, and should upload and unload according to the rules and regulations of transport for the ninth class corrosive substance issued by the Ministry of communications, Ministry.
