At present, China Steel Corp. (CSC)’s list prices for Al-killed wire rods are at NT$22,000/ton while the Taiwanese single rerolling makers’ list prices for Al-killed wire rods are at NT$24,500/ton.

Industry sources pointed out that the market demand for Al-killed wire rods has turned strong recently due to reduced supply from CSC and increased demand from screw makers.
